Are you looking for a good book discussion group? Interested in meeting others who share your love of reading? Charleston County Public Library hosts regular book clubs at the following branches. Join us!
March 2013 Meeting: March 13 at 6 p.m.
This month's Great Books Discussion includes The Carpenter's Son by Alfred Edward Housman, Life, Last Words, and Dying Confession by Rachel Wall and Pinched by Jack London. We will also discuss the folk ballad Stackalee and The Real Trial of Oscar Wilde. This first uncensored transcript of Wilde's trial was declared "unfit for publication" by London's Central Criminal Court Sessions Papers in 1895. Books may be picked up at the Fiction Desk.
A monthly book group for those of us who have “grown up” but never outgrew our love of great young adult literature.
January 2013 Meeting: January 29 at 5:30 pm Selection:Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Future meeting times and book selections to be determined by the group - please contact Sarah Kellner at email@example.com for more information.
