Summer Reading 2010: June 1 - July 31
 

This summer, during the months of June and July, the Charleston County Public Library is rewarding everyone for simply reading! Starting Tuesday, June 1, sign up at any of our branch locations absolutely free. Teens and adults can even enter online ... check out the links below.

  

Children ages 11 and younger can sign up for the Make a Splash-READ! Summer Reading Program. Earn prizes based on the hours spent reading or being read to. Read at least 30 hours to be entered in the Make a Splash-READ! Grand Prize Drawing and the Community of Readers Home Library Prize Drawing.

Students entering grades 6 – 12 can sign up for the Make Waves Teen Summer Reading Contest. Submit your entries at any branch or enter online beginning June 1st and you'll be automatically entered into that week's prize drawing. Read 800 or more pages and you will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing. The more you read, the more you can win!

Adults, treat yourselves to Reading Wave, the adult summer reading program.
The more you read, the more chances you have of winning our weekly prize drawing.
Submit your entries at any branch or enter online beginning June 1st.
At the close of the program, we'll draw a grand prize package winner
and two second place winners.
