The article presents a celebration of Ursula K. Leguin's "The Dispossessed: An Ambiguous Utopia." It features Marxism and science fiction contributing to the Utopian political tradition. It also gives explanation of the political philosophy of anarchism. The book was first published in 1973 when the "Science Fiction Studies" published a symposium on Marxism and science fiction. Although the work was considered political, the manner of writing it was in literary piece. Le Guin's work focused on ethics in many of her writings.
