    • Abstract:
The article examines a study on the psychological benefits of reading fiction. It has been noted by the author that fiction is written in a way to encourage readers in identifying with at least some of the characters. The author added that the process enables the reader to suspend his own goals and insert goals of the character into his planning processors.
