Full time position with a focus on excellent customer service. Perform routine desk duties under professional supervision; carries out procedures set by supervisory staff; help patrons locate materials. Basic clerical and general office work. Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite. Must be flexible to assume additional responsibilities as needed to maintain branch/departmental operations. Shelving library materials may also be required. Ability to get along well with others, ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly with the general public and library staff. Prior library experience helpful but not necessary. Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus. Other duties as assigned. Evening and weekend work included. Must be able to lift book crates weighing up to approximately fifty (50) pounds and/or push book carts weighing up to approximately one hundred (100) pounds. This position is eligible for benefits, which include but not limited to medical, dental, vision, prescription, 401k and state retirement pension. 

REQUIREMENTS: High School graduate; possess the ability to get along well with others and the ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly with the general public and library staff.

Hiring Salary Range: $22,048.00 - $29,993.60 annually, depending on qualifications.
