      The article discusses developments in journalism as of March 2015, particularly the so called solutions journalism. It cites as example the efforts by "The Seattle Times" and the Solutions Journalism Network to focus on positive news to tackle the issues confronting the education sector in Washington State. Among the positive developments are the in-school suspension program adopted by the Kent School District and the restorative justice policy launched at Big Picture High School.
