- Abstract: The objective of this study is to evaluate the relativity of pictures in preschool children's book to children with respect to opinions of teachers. While the population of the study consisted of the preschool teachers who are working at kindergartens in the center of Malatya in the school year of 2015-2016, its sample consisted of 30 preschool teachers selected from the population by using the method of criterion sampling. The semi-structured interview form will be used to obtain the data; whereas, the descriptive analysis method will be used to analyze the data. As a result of the study, it is foreseen that the majority of preschool students will state the fact that the pictures in children's books are more convenient to the age and developmental level of the child, the colors are more vivid and the pictures are more evident and will associate this result with today's advancing technologies and increasing awareness on children's literature. - Abstract: Bu araştırmanın amacı, okul öncesi dönem çocuk kitaplarındaki resimlerin çocuğa göreliğinin öğretmen görüşleri açısından değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırmanın evrenini 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim yılında Malatya merkezde anaokullarında çalışan okul öncesi öğretmenleri oluşturmakta; örneklemini ise evren içerisinden uygun örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 38 okul öncesi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Verileri elde etmek için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu; verileri analiz etmek için betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan görüşme formu uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda şekillendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre; okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin çoğunluğu, resimlerin içeriği açıkça ortaya koyduğunu, resmin içeriğin en ince ayrıntısına kadar vurgu yaptığını, içerikle uyumlu, açık ve anlaşılır olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin, sanatsal değerin resimlere yansıtıldığını, estetik kaygının ön planda tutulduğunu, sanatsal yanının ağır bastığını, resimlerin canlı olduğunu belirttikleri görülmüştür.
