    • Abstract:
The article focuses on research published in the March 2019 issue of "Scientific Reports" studying if infants are able to detect differences between laughter between friends and laughter among strangers. It states that five-month-old infants listened longer to laughter between friends than that of strangers, and stared longer at video clips that mismatched laughter with people acting like friends or strangers.
