      The article explores the uncertainty facing the white spectrum in line with changing regulations of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and explains how this uncertainty affects the performing arts sector, including theater. Topics covered include the unlicensed use of white space spectrum by wireless microphones, actions taken by the Theatre Communications Group (TCG) and the Performing Arts Alliance (PAA) and effect of digital broadcasting on white space spectrum.
