      The article examines the support being received by Senator Bernie Sanders from young Muslims in the U.S. in line with his campaign to earn the nomination of the Democratic Party for the 2020 presidential election. Topics covered include the WhatsApp group launched by Islamic studies student Hamzah Raza to pray for the health and recovery of Sanders who suffered a heart attack, reasons for the popularity of Sanders among U.S. Muslims and stance of Sanders on humanitarian concerns of Muslims.
