      An interview with Pulitzer Prize winner Lawrence Wright about his book "The End of October," out April 28, 2020, is presented. When asked about how the U.S. handled the COVID-19 pandemic, he said that he was frustrated. Regarding the topic of religion and faith in his book, he said that religion has been a theme in his work almost since the very beginning. Other topics discussed include the fragility of the human species and whether his perspective on his book changed amid the pandemic.
