    • Abstract:
In this scrupulously argued book, T. J. Mawson explores the daunting topics of the possible meanings of life and the place God has, or has not, in such meanings. In Chapter 4, Mawson comes to the same conclusion of polyvalence via a different route, looking at concerns regarding the issue of the meaning of life. Mawson endorses amalgam polyvalence over what he calls grab-bag polyvalence, the logical and metaphysical connections making up the amalgam. [Extracted from the article]
