      The article compares the current state of literature as of 2020 to the one in 1955. Also cited are the wide readers of popular literature in the 1950s with authors and poets like Ernest Hemingway, Richard Wright, Robert Frost and Marianne Moore, the reasons behind the literary stagnation in the 2020s like the lack of powerful literary talents, and some distractions of literature like politics.
