A Life in Pictures.

This article focuses on the proliferation of picture-book biographies as of October 2005. As educators acknowledge and embrace the picture book as a vehicle for promoting reading and writing across the curriculum as well as across the grades, more and more authors are opting for this format. Not only does it lend itself more easily to group sharing, but also makes these lives more accessible to younger or reluctant readers.
