      This article compares the literary works of playwrights Thomas Bernhard and Samuel Beckett. The essay began with the discussion of the academic achievements and other personal information about the authors. Beckett was five years younger than Bernhard but still he was able to write several exemplary poems and dramas. Hence, the author assesses the similarities in the written works of the playwrights. In this regard, the author tried to assess the influence of Beckett on the social views of Bernhard.
