    • Abstract:
The article discusses the bereavement felt by the survivors of suicide and offers suggestion on how to help them cope up with the bereavement. It notes that suicide makes the process of bereavement more challenging because of several circumstances including the traumatic aftermath, stigma, shame and isolation. It also suggests that to help people cope up with bereavement, a person should stay close to the person in grief, avoid hollow reassurance and remember the life of the deceased person.
