      In this article the authors discuss the San rock art at the ANG1 archaeological site in the Maclear District of the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. The authors focuses on a small recess to the south of the main painted shelter of ANG1 which is a large rock shelter, approximately 50 meters long. It states that the technique points to the three-dimensional nature of San rock art.
