    • Abstract:
The article analyzes the results of HIV testing conducted as part of the National HIV Behavioral Surveillance System (NHBS) for 2008 conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Majority of men who have sex with men (MSM) interviewed had been tested for HIV infection during the past 12 months. It recommends annual HIV testing for sexually active MSM to identify HIV infections and prevent ongoing transmission.
