    • Abstract:
The article discusses the roles of predictive policing and reasonable suspicion in American criminal procedure as of November 2012, focusing on an analysis of police departments and their use of computer programs to predict the locations of crimes that have not been committed yet. The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is addressed in relation to predictive policing policies. The U.S. Supreme Court's consideration of the predictive value of information is also examined.
