    • Abstract:
The article highlights American presidents who were able to do more with less spending. The author says there is a longing among conservatives for another Ronald Reagan, who is known as a tax cutter that was able to vindicated supply-side economics by increasing Federal revenue. President Calvin Coolidge also implemented a campaign to lower top rates and it was referred to as "scientific taxation," which is based on the early formulation of the Laffer Curve.
