      This article presents a profile of the Ghanaian-British architect David Adjaye, describing his career and international accomplishments. Focus is first given to his work designing of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, located in Washington D.C. An overview is then given of Adjaye's youth and international education in architecture. Further comments are offered noting his work on several projects in Senegal, Nigeria, Gabon, and Ghana as of 2013.
