      The article discusses the growth of construction work in Australia. It is expected that the value of construction work in Australia will increase by +8.2% in the 2005/06 financial year to AU$ 40 billion. The Australian Industry Group (Ai Group) said that the increase would continue in 2006/07 with a further +7.7% rise expected. Construction linked to the mining sector is also predicted to expand adversely, as is heavy industrial construction. Ai Group chief executive, Heather Ridout, informed that the growth in the construction sector will inturn boost the economy of Australia.
