The author presents humorous fictional stories of people who received some sort of wealth then lost it. In a fictitious account, Sharon Wilson discovers a leprechaun, who she sells to a research lab for a million dollars. She then loses all the money to capital gains taxes. Another fictitious story is told about Don Peters, who discovered a $10 bill, but he was unable to recall if he actually lost $10, so he had to report it on his personal tax return.
