    • Abstract:
The article focuses on revival of the Art Institute of Chicago in its now $889 million endowment after a recovery from losing $43 million with a failed hedge fund manager in 2001. The art institute is now undertaking a seven-year reallocation plan that will significantly raise its target for hedge funds, as well as other alternatives, after its hedge fund allocation plunged to 10% in the ensuing controversy over the loss.
