      The article focuses on reasons for the success of Harlequin Enterprises Ltd., the Canada's largest and global publisher. It is a success story based partly on branding efforts that resonate with readers worldwide, and partly imaginative distribution, like its famous coterie of direct-to-home subscribers. The publisher is popular for its romantic fiction. From Antigua to Zimbabwe, Harlequin Enterprises issues more than 1,000 new book titles each year with 19 and operations in 13 countries worldwide. Finally, a smart marketer in the Italian office came up with the idea of calling the book Single Jungle, changed the milk into a red martini, and turned the cows into jungle creature, explains Anita Sultmanis, director of retail marketing, core business.
