    • Abstract:
This article presents an interview with best selling author Diane Gabaldon. It's nearly impossible to get a word in edgewise with Diana Gabaldon. She's even long-winded when trying shorter-form fiction--her recently released "Lord John and the Private Matter" is a 305-page short story. Seeing my books in the romance section infuriates me. I own two lust-crazed desert tortoises. Voices in my head have always been there. I call it the other side. Writing is like walking beside a big field with a lot of interesting people doing fascinating things.
