      The article discusses various aspects of policing in the U.S. in relation to the author's views about how to restore social order to the rule of law in America as of 2016. Police training and the emotions of police officers are examined, along with concerns about fatal police shootings of black men. The Black Lives Matter social movement is addressed, along with deaths of U.S. police officers, ex-sheriff Sue Rahr, and 2016 American presidential candidate Donald Trump's views about the police.
