In this article, several children's talks about their early encounters with literary idols. Grace Maccarone, executive editor, Holiday House, says that as a child, she loved "Curious George," an animated series based on the popular books by Margret and H.A. Rey. She was trilled when Margret Rey invited her to her home in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to talk. Anne Decourcey, sales representative, HarperCollins, recalls meeting novelist Roald Dahl at Shop in Notting Hill Gate in London, England.
