The article presents an interview with Pakistani author Mohsin Hamid, whose recent book "Exit West" was shortlisted for the 2017 Man Booker prize. He says that he is particularly inspired by Nelson Mandela, the South African politician behind the anti-apartheid movement. He says that his father is his hero, who always inspired him. When asked about his favourite TV show, Hamid replies that he likes watching "Game of Thrones."
