    • Abstract:
The article reports on the launch of the first products incorporating the DisplayPort (DP) 2.0 technology bandwidth connectors in late 2020, according to the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA). DP 2.0 offers three times as much bandwidth as DP 1.4a, the current standard, and its available link rate has been increased up to 20 gigabits per second per lane with 128-bit/132-bit channel coding. VESA has provided a list of video configurations that DP 2.0 will enable.
