      In the article, the author discusses the racial hierarchy in the U.S. and how it led to the deaths of African Americans. Also cited are the higher number of African Americans who died due to the COVID-19 disease, the racial inequalities in health care, the challenges faced by people of color in the country like unemployment, unsafe housing, and hazardous jobs, as well as the police brutality and racial violence experienced by African Americans.
