This article presents information about automobile racing. Jacques Villeneuve returned to Formula One in a big way this week. The 1997 world champion tested a Renault R24 car at Silverstone, prior to taking Jarno Trulli's place in the three remaining Grands Prix as the French-owned team concludes its long battle in the constructors' championship with BAR, the team that dropped Villeneuve just before the 2003 season finale. Jarno Trulli has left Renault F1 and, as expected, will join racing driver Ralf Schumacher in the all-new 2005 lineup at Panasonic Toyota Racing. The 30-year-old Italian was a surprise winner of this year's Monaco Grand Prix.
