      "The 2021 Membership Marketing Benchmarking Report validated what many of us have experienced; it has been a challenging year for association membership", says Tony Rossell, senior vice president at Marketing General Incorporated, the firm that releases the annual report. Associations that increased new member input were far more likely to see overall membership growth (63 percent compared to 7 percent).
