      The article reports on the move of some conferences to an all-virtual format despite the national rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in spring 2021. Topics include percentage of the U.S. population over 18 that were fully vaccinated, the discussion by members of the American Library Association (ALA) Executive Board of the shift to virtual in late August, and the decision by New York Library Association (NYLA) to proceed with its Conference and Trade Show as a hybrid event.
