      The author criticizes filmmaker Michael Moore's demonization of pharmaceutical companies in his film "Sicko." A comparison of "Sicko" with other films that criticized pharmaceutical companies including "The Constant Gardener" and "The Fugitive," is presented. The author cites increased life expectancy of Americans as one of the contributions of pharmaceutical companies in the U.S. On the other hand, Moore failed to educate his viewers with his films, the author concludes.
