      The article examines the views on taxation of Jean-Baptiste Say, more popularly known as the Father of Austrian Public Finance. The author, specifically analyzes his political-economic views, taxation principles and analysis of tax incidence. He show how Say's approach on taxation foreshadowed Austrian economic thought on this area. Moreover, he provides brief biographical information on Say.
