The article reports on the condition and volatility of sugar commodity in the U.S. According to senior softs analyst for Alaron Futures and Options Boyd Cruel, sugar started to gather when the Brazilian hedge fund was pushed to close short positions resulting to break the resistance levels and leading to increase fund buying in January 2008. Fund manager John Di Tomasso states that sugar is the most depreciated commodity.
