An interview with Kanwal Rekhi, an angel investor and who has been raising a debut fund for India-focused venture firm Inventus Capital Partners for two years, is presented. When asked about the changes in the investment environment in India, he notes the increase of Series B and C rounds. He cites that India-based venture capitals (VCs) were not as good in mentoring entrepreneurs compare to their U.S. counterparts. He cites that about 90% of their fund is raised from institutional investors.
