- Abstract: This article describes how culinary consultant Susan Spungen provides her expertise to movies in which cooking has an important role. Spungen has advised such movies as "Eat Pray Love," starring Julia Roberts in an adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's popular novel, "Julie & Julia," starring Meryl Streep, and "It's Complicated," also starring Meryl Streep. The article also presents information about other movies in which food and chefs play important roles.
