      The article discusses the study of consumer experience. It highlights common approaches in determining potentially interesting consumer research ideas such as being an active participant in a basic social science discipline as well as concentrating on a substantive domain. Topics including consumer satisfaction and dissatisfaction, attitudes towards advertisement, and product performance are discussed.
