According to Educational Publishers Council (EPC) director Graham Taylor, publishers in the sector registered increased sales in the first quarter of 2011 as schools spent their remaining budget before the April 2011 deadline. The opinion of Oxford University Press' Kate Harris on the opportunities of publishers in the current situation is also cited.
