    • Abstract:
The article reports that the U.S. hospitals led by the American Hospital Association (AHA) called for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to reform its proposed Medicare Part B rebilling rule. AHA stated that the proposed rule would limit the ability of hospitals to rebill essential medical patient services in case of disputes on healthcare service delivery. AHA added that the final rule must also allow rebilling of any rejected health service claim that was originally filed.
