Who prefers the 'cost-effectiveness ratio' prioritization approach in health-care decisions? Results of an empirical analysis.

The article presents a study which aims to examine the fairness consideration of the cost-effectiveness ratio (CER) approach, compared with other prioritization approaches. The study developed and tested a questionnaire to ask participants about their selected prioritization approaches using a dichotomous choice technique. Results showed that majority of the students prioritized cost-effectiveness second after minimum health.
