The article reports on the use of Amigo thermal plate for Agfa Corp.'s press performance in Great Britain. After imaging, the plate requires only a clean-out step to remove the non-image areas. The company claims that it is a more extended clean out, instead of the gum employed with the Azura, and done using a chemical additive. According to Theo De Keersmaecker, Agfa's marketing director for digital plates, some sites have been using the plates exclusively for three to four months, and report very low remake rates.
