The article reports on the innovations that were exhibited during the annual Graph Expo print-fest in Chicago, Illinois. Incremental improvements in the print technologies like computer-to-plate, color management, portable document format workflow, and job definition format were ubiquitous. Another trend is the continued rapid growth of new business technologies for printers, notably wide format, mailing/fulfillment and digital printing. Aside from these two which were situated at the specialty pavilions on the exposition floor, digital printing hardware and its driving applications could also be seen everywhere.
