    • Abstract:
      The article presents a study which determines the capability of dual-energy computed tomography (DECT) for differentiation of right heart dysfunction (RHD) from non-right heart dysfunction (NRHD) in acute pulmonary thromboembolism (APTE) patients. It details the methodology and materials in examining the APTE patients through DECT and echocardiography. It implies that quantitative DECT has good potential for differentiation of APTE patients with RHD or NRHD.
