      An essay examining the relation between sex and empire in the global outsourcing industry is presented. It states that sexually charged interactions and intimacies are often seen among people working at the call centers. Topics discussed are military origins of call centers in Philippines, commercialized forms of sex such as sex tourism and cyber sex encounters, and institutionalization of prostitution.
