    • Abstract:
Böedec, François. A Political Constitution at the Service of a Social Contract: The French Situation. On the basis of the framework of the constitutional history of the French Republic and French-Mexican relations since the 18th century, the author reflects on the evolution of the political and social project in France, highlighting the key threads that run through it, as well as the changes it has undergone up to the present day. In the second part of the text, Boëdec points out the aspects that today undermine the stability of a social contract, such as the disrepute of politics, cultural and religious plurality, the crisis of the word, or the rise of an individual citizenship at the expense of the community dimension. In his conclusion, the author suggests a number of leads for dealing with the constitutional challenge in France, leads that could prove useful in the case of Mexico. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
