Management practices of an information and communication technology APL through contingency factors. (English)

information and communication technology companies of APL Iguassu-IT, against contingency factors. A descriptive, quantitative approach was carried out through the adaptation of the instrument validated by Hayes (1975, 1977). The results indicate antagonistic tendencies with respect to competitive variables and internal cooperation. It is concluded that companies are aware of the relevance of contingency factors such as budget, internal cooperation and external environment, as well as regarding the importance of management controls. In search of results that may contribute to the advancement of the contingency and managerial literature, it is suggested to investigate a broader universe from the perspective of the three dimensions foreseen in the Hayes model (1975, 1977), the conduction of explanatory studies, among others. O propósito deste trabalho consiste em investigar as práticas gerenciais adotados pelas empresas de tecnologia da informação e comunicação do APL Iguassu-IT, face a fatores contingenciais. Realizou-se pesquisa descritiva, de abordagem quantitativa, por meio da adaptação do instrumento validado por Hayes (1975; 1977). Os resultados indicam tendências antagônicas no que diz respeito a variáveis concorrenciais e de cooperação interna. Conclui-se que as empresas são conscientes da relevância de fatores contingenciais tais como orçamento, cooperação interna e ambiente externo, assim como no que tange a importância das práticas decorrentes da utilização dos controles gerenciais. Em busca de resultados que possam contribuir com o avanço da literatura contingencial e gerencial, sugere-se a investigação de um universo mais amplo sob a perspectiva das três dimensões previstas no modelo de Hayes (1975; 1977), a condução de estudos explicativos, entre outros.
