Verruka ve Molluskum Kontagiosumda Lazer ve Yoğun Işık Tedavisi. (Turkish)

Laser and Intense Light Therapy in Verruca and Molluscum Contagiosum. (English)

Verruca and molluscum contagiosum (MC) infections tend to involve some body parts that create aesthetic concern, e.g. facial, palmoplantar and genital area. Therefore, new searches are continuing especially in treatment resistant cases. In this article, it is aimed to review of literature data about the efficacy and safety of certain lasers and Intense Pulsed Laser (IPL) treatments frequently used in verruca and MC infections in recent years. The clinical studies, case series and reports which were published in the last 20 years have been examined. It has been determined that CO2 laser, Nd: YAG laser and PDL are effective treatment options in resistant verruca infections; however, further studies are needed to determine the efficacy of other lasers and IPL in treatment. PDL treatment can be an effective and reliable option in the treatment of MC, but it is not enough studies on this subject and more extensive studies are required. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Verruka ve molluskum kontagiosum (MK) enfeksiyonları yüz, palmoplantar ve genital bölge gibi estetik kaygı oluşturan bazı vücut bölümlerini tutma eğilimindedir. Bu nedenle özellikle tedaviye dirençli olgularda yeni arayışlar devam etmektedir. Bu makalede, verruka ve MK enfeksiyonlarında son yıllarda sıklıkla kullanılan belirli lazerler ve yoğun ışık (Intense Pulsed Laser-IPL) tedavilerinin etkinliği ve güvenilirliği ile ilişkili literatür verilerinin gözden geçirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu derlemede son 20 yıl içinde yayınlanmış olan konuyla ilişkili klinik çalışmalar, olgu serileri ve olgu sunumları incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, dirençli verrukalarda CO2 lazer, Nd:YAG lazer ve PDL'nin etkili tedavi seçenekleri olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ancak diğer lazerlerin ve IPL uygulamasının tedavideki etkinliğini belirleyebilmek için daha fazla çalışmaya ihtiyaç vardır. MK tedavisinde ise PDL tedavisi etkili ve güvenilir bir seçenek olabilir, ancak bu konuda da yeterli çalışma olmayıp daha geniş kapsamlı çalışmaların yapılması gereklidir. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
